For the first time in two months, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has held three Express Entry draws on three consecutive days. The latest Express Entry draw results from Canada, dated December 8, 2023, are now available.

In the week's third Express Entry draw, the Canadian immigration department organized another category-specific Express Entry draw, focusing this time on issuing 5,900 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates in the Canadian immigration pool with recent work experience in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The draw conducted today, which is the first STEM-focused draw since July 5, 2023, distributed ITAs to qualified candidates having at least a 481 score in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

This STEM-specific draw comes after two other draws earlier this week. The initial draw was an all-program draw conducted on December 6, where IRCC awarded ITAs to 4,750 immigration candidates who had a minimum CRS score of 561. The other draw by IRCC this week occurred on December 7, 2023, during which 1,000 ITAs were given out in a French-language proficiency specific draw to candidates scoring at least 470 in CRS.
